The Operations Manager for Finish Line is the store manager they are in charge of the whole store from how it runs, to the layouts of the store, and the prices. The back office is also a part of their supervision but they run that alongside their assistant managers. The products and services of Finish line are to deliver the best products and a remarkable shopping experience for customers. They provide the most desirable sneakers and the latest trends from the most popular and demanded brands. They are more focused on delivering the best possible experience to each and every customer by listening and responding to them.
The manager of the store is Jenniffer Porras, she has been working in the retail field for 8 years. She has done two years of college in Business Administration. Before being the Manager of the store she started a Sales Associate until she got all the skills to manage the entire store not only giving good customer service and making sure that all the inventory is good enough to satisfy the demand but also training the employees and making sure that they understand not only the process but also the main goal to keep the sales high.
We as a team have chosen this company because we wanted to see how a retail chain manages its operations and with the help of our classmate/team member Josue we had the chance to investigate and get information that it is not shown in the website.
Finish Line is a company that has a lot of competitors in the market, like FootLocker, Champs, FootAction etc. Even though the list of competitors is big, they have managed to stay in the market, with the alliances Finish Line has with Macy's it is a good way to approach the customers and generates its own profits.
